And Now or Something More Political

I usually don't like to make political statements, and in most cases just by stating this some will shout "then don't!" In the last few days I have heard so much I just have to say something.

First off, I am almost ashamed to be governed by our leader Jean Chretien, It is almost embarrassing to be Canadian. My father was a war hero who earned the Military Medal (some of you may note the importance of this award, for those who don't, it wasn't just given to the average soldier), and fought for this country and all it stands for. This is a totally separate war, but I think that once your most valued allies commit to something like this you have to side with them. I would hate to be a Canadian living in the states right now, I have heard of many death threats, radio stations cut off, national anthems boo'd, and many more incidents that are really upsetting.

Don't get me wrong, I am against war 100 percent, but once it has started, and over history this is nothing new, you have to stick together. What Mr. Chretien is doing to us right now will come back to haunt us in the future, I don't think we should be doing this to our neighbors down south. Especially if you consider that we already have support there that could (although limited) help.

Enough said!
