Awesome Weekend

Night GolfWow, what an awesome weekend. It all started Friday night with the Night Golf at The Club . Shaaron and I paired up with her friend Tracy and her sister Kelly. I snapped this picture in the dark, but you can clearly still make out the glow stick apparel that we were wearing. The gist of it is that you need the glow sticks to see not only your fellow golfers, but you need one on your golf bag because you can loose it even if it is a few feet away in the dark.

The glow balls are kewl when you hit them, following the tracer in the sky. We had a few incidents where the glow sticks came out of the balls. You try searching for a clear plastic ball in the dark, it is not easy. It was a blast though, fun was had by all. We golfed until about 12:15am then prizes where handed out.

Pig Barbaque

Pig Barbaque

Sunday we attended our friends annual pig barbeque (held on their anniversary every year, attended by about 100 friends and relatives), that proved to be every bit as good as previous years. This year was their 25th so it was special as well. This picture here is of Mel, the Host and Pig Chef. There is something about roasting a whole pig as compared to cooking separate body parts that makes it taste better.

The kids had fun as well; they have a kid’s pool and a trampoline that they fill with water. We had to force Marlee away and into dry clothes after hours of playing in the water, and Tyler had fun playing Bochi (spelling?) and eating salmon.

Just a fabulous weekend, now it is back to work.

Dear Sir:
Where can I get a barbaque that will hold a whole wild pig? Or two for 200 people. Daughters wedding reception.

The one used in these photos is the property of the Chilliwack Fish and Game Protective Association. You might want to try your local Fish and Game Club, they might be able to help you out there.
