What an awesome game, the Sedins Strike again, this time with a break away goal. I am impressed, not to mention what they are contributing with their feeds to Magnus Arvedson .
Way to go Twins!
I would like to take back all that I have said in the past about the Sedin Twins . Yes I have been quite harsh on them in the past, criticizing them and calling them everything under the sun, but what they are doing now is playing hockey. I think the breaking point was when they put Trevor Linden out there with them; this was the point where they came off the boards and started going to the net.
This year we have seen end to end rushes leading to highlight reel goals, and some breakaway and a penalty shot. This is HOCKEY, and they are now playing it very well, they are developing into the superstars that they were supposed to when the Canucks drafted them. I also think that the time along the boards has helped their puck control skills, making them better players.
Things are going along fairly well, I just put my software up on Download.com and Tucows, and I have been getting some interest, but nothing to scream about.
The best exposure is on Google where I have purchased some click-through advertising. If you search on POS or on Inventory Management I am ranked as high as second. (Note: please if you are testing this do not click through to my site, as it costs me $ when you do, unless of course you want to seriously look at the stuff) . I have had only a handful of sales to this point but I am working to make my applications better. I am presently looking into adding the ability for it to use laser UPC code readers and print UPC codes, slowly building it out into a full blown POS system.
Thanks to Silverstr for the heads up.
Wish me luck, it is a lot of work and it is getting better...slowly…
Looks like I am going to have to take some time and install the Spam Filter for MT, as I too have now been hit with a few. The thing is that it is I only had 4 of them, I am thinking to get it done before the onslaught hits.
So I am not really an American Hating Minority, it was only a joke, Gesh. To think, I checked stats on my Company’s site and my software was downloaded by the US Military. I wonder if I am now under investigation. Hey, you never know.
Thanks to Tiggersol
for the link, what the heck I'll bite.

Life can give you a kick in the balls; it can go from being something you can only dream of to something you want to run away from.
I just want to let one person know that I will never run away, and I will always be there for them. No matter what.
OK, I need some advice. I am thinking about upgrading my AMD XP 1700+ to something a little more powerful. I went to A-Power Online and I noticed many different AMD processors now.
There is the XP, The XP Barton, what would you guys buy?
I just witnessed a first in hockey history, I think. The identical Sedin twins just got a 2 on nothing breakaway, AND SCORED! Then not 5 minutes later they both hit the post, one the left, the other the right, on two consecutive shots. Talk about lucky, what are the odds of two shots, one after the other, both hitting the post, let alone both posts being hit?
Ok, maybe it wasn't a big deal, but it impressed the hell out of me.
I live on an important road, with respect to the fact that there are government run buildings or complexes further up the road. So, when there is any snowfall they clear the roads and have them in tip top condition. This I have no complaint over, it is the roads in downtown Chilliwack that are the SHITS. I mean they are horrendous, not to mention the people that drive on them. I was born in London Ontario when this would be considered only a light sprinkle of the white stuff; it is still here and many of the roads are still covered and there doesn't seem to be any real interest in doing a damn thing about it.
What is worse is the complex I live in, the paperboy, mailman, and the garbage people have all complained because it is downright hazardous. There are ruts in the road where it melted and then froze; we are talking about 20-30 cm high ruts. This is not bad for me, but this complex is full of the elderly, and how the hell are they supposed to drive, let alone walk to the corner to check their mail, that is if it gets delivered because the mailman won’t come in and deliver!!
Well, once again we have the entire family sick at one level or other. I am not too affected yet, knock wood. Shaaron was hit the worst then the kids, so much for the flu shot really helping against the rest of the thousands of strands of flu.
First off I would like to say that I don’t mind USA winning the gold medal at the , World Juniors , at least most of the players on the team are Canadian Trained, and are very close to home. I hated when Russia used to win. And that in itself is kind of ironic, because the man who robbed us of a gold once I think it was 1999 by scoring the game winner, Artem Chubarov, plays for the Canucks.
I do feel sorry for Marc-Andre Fleury, Team Canada’s goalie that ended up scoring on his own net to GIVE the USA their gold. Shit happens; he will never try to clear the puck up the center through on rushing players ever again you can be sure of that, he is such an awesome goalie.
Secondly I witnessed what I think is a first, and I hope to be the last time Trevor Linden (the Canucks), ever gives up the puck to an opponent. It cost them the game, shit happens Trev, no biggie, just try not to do that again, “that would be Great” .
I think you have to make mistakes to be successful, and no matter how big of a mistake you make, as long as you learn form it, and grow as a person then you have done all you can, and you are on the right track.
Ok, so I am still alive, some may or may not appreciate this, but at this point I do. Been busy over the holidays, family and friends are big in my life, without them I would be lost.
I had an exceptionally good time New Year's Eve thanks to some very special people in my life, Pictures are available here if you want to take a look. I decided to drink after being sober for almost 10 years (actually been drinking earlier in the holidays), and I had a great time, and will remember that one for many years to come.
I am putting 2003 behind me, many mixed memories, but they are just that. I am going to dwell not on the past or the future, but what is important today. Other than that my only real resolution for this year is to loose weight, this time from the aspect of not trying to loose pounds, or meet goals, but rather a complete lifestyle change. Sure I am going to get back into going to the gym, but also eating better, and getting more involved in the good things in life.
