Wedding Bells

Harrison Bay
Well it was an awesome wedding, and although I have more pictures I promised to only put up one that didn't include the wedding party (this one is taken from the back of the boat on departure). My niece, Raina was married September19th on Harrison Lake in front of Rainbow Falls. It was a gorgeous day, and I was grateful to have attended.

It was a private wedding consisting of about 30 people, who were chartered up the lake on a small yacht and we witnessed their vows on the top deck. We took over 150 pictures and video and are planning to make a slideshow DVD and DVD video for them. It was quite the day!

Congratulations Rob and Raina!!

Oh and little Emily too!

NHL a No-Go

As much as I hate the NHL Commissioner, and think of him as a weasel ( among other things), and think he is crooked and I could go on forever, I think the players have to realize that the league cannot continue to support the wages that are being paid. There is no way Canadian teams will be able to stay in Canada, and from the looks of things in places like Carolina, some US teams cannot afford it either.

I mean shit, how many million dollars does one need? I know it is easy for me to say and all, but most players in the league now will live a very comfortable life long after hockey, and some will live on that will be luxurious for generations to come.

I hate agreeing with the weasel, but I think they have a point.

Oh well the World Cup Hockey was a great tease.

Proof Reeding

proofread
Found this one and thought it was worth putting up. It emphasizes why I had a problem proof reading my own work in college; kind of neat huh?

Come to think of it even when Shaaron proof read my stuff it got to the point where she was used to my spelling mistakes and she would miss them too. I know this ( the pic on the right) is more of an extreme case, but hey, I have been desperate for blog content lately.

Back To SCHOOL YIPPEEE ! !

YES!!
It is that magical time of year when all boys and girls go back to school, and get to enjoy the peace and quiet of an empty house during the day.

Actually it was a great summer, Tyler and I have not finished our hiking, or biking. But it will sure be nice to get a little break.
