Marlee on Top of Teapot
Well it was a late decision, but we did it. Marlee took her first actual hike up Teapot Hill. Here is a photo of her at the top overlooking the lake. It was a big step for a little girl, and I am proud of her. We talked about it this morning while cleaning the car. I got up early and Marlee and I detailed the inside of our car, and as a reward I asked her if she wanted to go on the hike Tyler and I take on Sundays.

Marlee on way up Teapot Well, she was walking around with her head held high all day, and despite me not getting home from a visit to Bear'suntil almost 4:00pm we still made the hike. I couldn't let her down; she was all ready at the door when I got home.

So we headed up and made it back home by 6:15pm, it was fun, I had to hold her hand out of fear by myself only. She was not at all scared of the steep sections nor the heights and the long way down in one place. Who knows maybe it is Lindamen Lake bound for her later this year.
